Cylchgronau Cymru

in Australia, spent most of his life in the Rhayader area. He died in 1898 and was buried in Builth Wells churchyard. The name of the village of his birth was given to one of his hymn tunes and others he wrote were Cenarth. Penlan and St. Garmon.
