Mr. President and Brethren,— dOTRING of startling importance has occurred in with the Forward Movement since the last meeting of the Directors. On the whole, I think I can report progress. Most of the centres appear to be taking root and gaining strength, although a few cause me much anxiety. Recently a new hall has been opened in Porth, Rhondda Valley. The building operations had been delayed by a series of un¬ fortunate circumstances ; I had almost despaired of ever seeing the building completed ; the stars in their courses seemed to war against it.
