Phillips. EDITORIAL NOTE. ------o------ The first birthday of the School Magazine is celebrated with this number. Gradually the profit made on the first number has dwindled down, until now we are in debt to the extent of £1. It seems that the compulsory subscription to the games' club will have to be extended to the Magazine, unless we can make it pay its way with the additional help of Old Boys, whose attention we draw to the circular letter which we have published. We have now lost D. J. Lloyd from the editorial chair; but this loss is fully balanced by the entry of H. Donaldson, who fills his half of the seat amply, in more than one sense.
