The Summer Excursions have been hitherto made—first, to Saighton, Ohurton Heath, Bunhury, Beeston, Peckforton; second, to Sandbach, Nantwich Church, Crewe Hall, &c. A third will be shortly arranged for the ensuing summer, to Valle Cruris. The first Report contained particulars of the annual receipts and expen- diture, so far as they could at that time be ascertained, but a general abstract is here given of them from the first, classifying the various objects which call for annual or occasional outlay, and showing a balance to b( carried on in future years, in correspondence with the audited accounts given on the next page. A good museum, and other mo desirable objects, cannot possibly be secured without a considerable increai in the number of Subscribers.
