HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF.—it is interesting and useful to remind ourselves that history repeats itself, and that " perilous posi¬ tions " are not infrequent, in agriculture and other things. Shropshire (to wit).—At the General Quarter Sessions of the peace of our Sovereign Lord the King held at the Guildhall in Shrewsbury in and for the County of Salop on Tuesday in the week next after the Translation of Saint Thomas the Martyr (to wit) the tenth day of July ia the twenty fourth year of the Reigu of our Sovereign Lord George the second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord 1750 Before Sir Henry Edwardes and Sir Richard Corbett Baronets John W&lcot Richard Lyster Andrew Hill Esquires and others his Majesty's Justices assigned to keep the peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and deter- VOL. It is ordered by this Court that the new Chappel situate in Street Arthur in Oswestry in this County be recorded as a Place of religious Worship for his Majesty's protestant Subjects dissenting from the Church of England.
