At a Special Service held in the Palace Chapel, Llandaff, on Saturday morning, 25th July, the Lord Bishop of Llandaff collated the Rev. Thomas William Jones, B.A., formerly vicar of Llan- ddevvi Rhydderch, Abergavenny, to the Rectory of Llanilid with Llanharan, near Bridgend; the Rev. Thomas Holmes Morgan was instituted to the Rectory of Newton Nottage, and the Rev. Gomer Davies,B.A., was licensed to the Curacy of Llanfihangel Llantarnam. At a Special Service held in the Palace Chapel, Llandaff, on Friday morning, the nth September, the Lord Bishop of Llandaff collated the Rev. William James, formerly Curate of Cyfarthfa, to the Vicarage of Llanddewi Rhydderch, near Abergavenny; and licensed the following Curates :—Rev. Montague William John Bruce, M.A., to Rogiet, with Ifton and Llanfihangel Rogiet; Rev. Enoch Thomas Davies, M.A., to St. Augustine, Penarth, with Lavernock; Rev. Rees Davies, Lie. Div., to Llangynwyd ; Rev. Sydney Thomas, B.A., to St. John the Baptist, Cardiff; and Rev. Gilbert Williams, Lie. Div., to Gelligaer. The Bishop also granted to the Rev. William Armstrong Willis, a general license to officiate as a Priest in the Diocese of Llandaff.
