Times for 16 Nov. 1907, appeared this paragraph :— " In the Probate Division on Monday 11 Nov. Mr. Justice Bargrave Deane had before him an application for the appointment of a receiver, pending litigation, to administer the estate of the late Mr. Howell Gwynne, who died last June. The case was entered as Ticehurst and another v. Howell. Mr. Rowland Ticehurst and Mr. Frederick Ticehurst, the plaintiffs, are solicitors at Cheltenham, and the defendant is Mr. Marmaduke George Howell, of the Strand, Builth Wells, in the county of Brecon, who claims to be the lawful brother and heir-at-law of the testator. Application was made to appoint Mr. P. Archibald Henry Weller, of Great Malvern, chartered accountant, receiver, and to administer the estate pending the suit, but this was opposed. It was stated that the property in dispute- amounted to about £30,000, which included farms, lands. and houses situate in the counties of Devon and Pembroke. Ulitmately, the matter stood over for a fortnight."
